Cattle truck driver busted for carrying bundles of marijuana instead of livestock

TUCSON - Tucson Border Patrol agents seized a livestock trailer carrying bundles of marijuana.

The incident happened on Wedensday night, at the checkpoint on State 90.

The tractor-trailer approached the inspection where agents noticed the ventilation holes of the cattle hauler were plugged.

Agents conducted an inspection and discovered 188 bundles of marijuana and a pistol. The driver was arrested. The marijuana, firearm and tractor-trailer were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
