TUCSON - For the second time this season, University of Arizona junior Hallie Wilson has been named the PAC-12 Player of the Week. The league made the announcement on Monday.
The first baseman hit five home runs in five games, while batting .533. Arizona won all five contests. Wilson hit multiple home runs on two separate occasions.
Wilson also leads the PAC-12 in runs scored this season. She put 11 runs on the scoreboard throughout the week. She also drove in nine runs.
This is Arizona's 140th Player of the Week honor, which ranks first in the league.
The Cats return to the field this weekend with a three game series at Washington. First pitch is Friday night at 7pm on the PAC-12 Network.
