TUCSON- The Pima County Sheriff's Office is asking motorists to avoid driving up Catalina Highway until further notice, due to a vehicle crash.

According to PSCO, a vehicle crashed into a guardrail near milepost 20 and is blocking traffic.

One occupant was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition.

PCSO said alcohol was possibly a factor in the crash.

The investigation is on-going into the cause of the accident.
