CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Busty mannequins used to entice potential car buyers at a Chandler auto dealer have been permanently parked.
The AutoMart Superstore is no longer doing business, according to Chandler officials.
Chandler code enforcement officials had warned owner and general manager Tracy Tingue the mannequins on display along Arizona Avenue violated the city's sign laws.
Notices posted on the dealership door by landlord Richard Walters state that AutoMart has been evicted from the property, and that a lien has been placed on all personal property remaining on the premises.
Walters said the company no longer occupies the site, but he declined further comment.
Messages left with AutoMart went unreturned.
