Eugene, Ore. - University of Arizona Wildcat men's and women's track and field teams had another strong day on Friday. Junior Georganne Moline competed in the semifinal of the women's 400-meter hurdles. The trio of volunteer assistant coach Jill Camarena-Williams, junior Alyssa Hasslen and sophomore Baillie Gibson all competed in the final of the women's shot put.

Camarena-Williams punched her ticket to London, earning a first-place finish in the women's shot put with a mark of 62-10.5 (19.16m). This is Camarena-Williams' second-straight trip to the Olympic Games. Hasslen took sixth place, she had a toss of 58-2.5 (17.74m). Gibson had a toss of 55-8.5 (16.98m), good for ninth place in the competition.

"I was a little nervous after the first two rounds," Camarena-Williams said. "After that, I just calmed down and got some good throws. I'm just really excited to represent my country."

"I would have liked to have thrown farther today," Hasslen said. "I'm happy with how I threw today compared to what I've been throwing the last three weeks after my injury. It's bittersweet, I want to be happy with how far I threw but at the same time I know I can throw farther. It is very frustrating. I'm taking a step in the right direction and I'm excited for what is coming in the future. I'm only a junior so I'm excited for what is to come."

Moline broke her own school record for the third time this season, clocking a personal-best time of 54.72 in heat one of the 400-meter hurdles. Her time is also the fourth-best time in Pac-10/12 history. She took first place in heat one and second place overall, an automatic qualifier for the final. The final will take place on Sunday at 4:02 p.m. MST. Moline must finish in third place or better to earn a spot on Team USA.

"I trusted myself and just went," Moline said. "I always run the same, so I wouldn't say I saved anything, I just ran how I usually do. It's easy here (to get a personal best) because the fans, the stadium, my mom is here and I just felt like it was easy today. (To set a personal best) It gives me a lot of confidence, my goal was to set a personal best today so that going into the finals I had the mentality that I needed to win and get in the top 3. I just need to run my race, just worry about myself and focus on my lane."

Junior Brigetta Barrett is the lone competitor with ties to Arizona on Saturday. She will compete in the final of the women's high jump at 5 p.m. Barrett also must finish in third place or better to earn a spot on Team USA.

The television schedule for the Olympic Trials is:
Sat., June 30 9-10 p.m. ET/PT NBC
Sun., July 1 7-8 p.m. ET/PT NBC (All broadcasts are live)
