TUCSON - Two separate calls kept Tucson firefighters busy Monday afternoon.
The first call came in at 2:27 to report an electrical fire in a home in the 2000 block of South Farwell.
The homeowner reported fire had come out of two electrical outlets, one in the kitchen and another near the television. Fire crews arrived quickly and used a thermal imaging camera to confirm the fire was out and then used high-powered fans to blow the excess smoke from the home. The cause of the fire is not known.
The second call came in about 15 later to report a shed fire in the 8600 block of East Colette.
Tucson Fire says the fire was threatening electrical lines directly above the shed. Crews contained the flames in about two minutes.
The homeowners were not home at the time of the fire and the cause is not known.
