Burglars hit Mt. Lemmon home, then arrested at base of mountain

TUCSON - A band of burglars were arrested Tuesday after Pima County Sheriff's deputies say they burglarized a Mt. Lemmon home.

It happened at a home in the 11300 block of East Bisbee Ave. around 1:30 p.m. Someone called 911 after seeing a group of people running from the home.

About a half hour later, a deputy, waiting at the base of the mountain, pulled over a car with a male driver and 4 male passengers. Inside the car, the deputy found the items missing from the burglarized residence as well as marijuana. It was also determined that the driver was under the influence.

All of the car's occupants were arrested, including two male juveniles, ages 15 and 17.

The 3 other occupants were: 19-year-old, Cody Alan Flores, 21-year-old Francisco Antonio Garcia, and 19-year-old Geordy Ray Cathey.
