Brown Fire: Community meeting for area residents tonight

SIERRA VISTA - A community meeting will be held tonight (Wednesday) for residents living near the Brown Fire burning in the Huachuca Mountains.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Channel 12 in Sierra Vista. If you want to attend the meeting in person it will be held at the Sierra Vista City Council Chamber at City Hall, 1011 N. Coronado. Seating is limited.

The meeting will not be live streamed online however a recording will available at http://www.sierravistaaz.gov/ by mid-morning Thursday.

Incident Commanders say the fire has scorched about 250 acres since sparking Sunday.
