BREAKING: Police release photo of UA stabbing suspect

UPDATE: UAPD has identified the suspect in Wednesday's stabbing on the University of Arizona campus.

The suspect has been identified as 63 year old Jose DeJesus Cuevas-Hernandez of Tucson, Arizona. Cuevas-Hernandez is 5'6" tall, 200 lbs., with brown eyes, brown hair and a thick bushy mustache. Cuevas-Hernandez was last seen leaving the area in a gold or tan 2000 Chevrolet Malibu with Arizona license plate #772ZBD. A warrant has been issued for Cuevas-Hernandez's arrest. Do not approach the suspect if you see him. Immediately call 911 if you know his whereabouts.

TUCSON - University of Arizona Police are investigating a stabbing on campus, west of Kaibab dorm near Park Student Center.

They are looking for a suspect described as a Hispanic male wearing a light blue t-shirt with a logo, a green army-type cap and blue jeans. Police say the suspect is about 60 years old and is 5'6'' in height. The suspect has a mole on his right cheek and a bushy moustache.

He apparently left the scene in a tan four-door vehicle.

As part of the investigation, police have closed off Tyndall between 4th & 5th streets. The only entrance to the Tyndall Garage is off of Euclid at this time.

Suspect in the stabbing: Hispanic male, appx 60 yrs 5'6, drk curly hair, blue tshirt grn hat jeans bushy moustache w/ mole on right cheek.

UAPD continues its investigation. Suspect identified but not in custody. Appears to be an isolated assault. All streets are open. All clear.
