TUCSON - UPDATE 4:30 Tucson Electric Power tells News 4 that all power except 2,000 residents has been restored. Residents who are still without power should have their power back on shortly.

Nearly 14,000 people are without power. Tucson Electric Power says the power outage is affecting residents and businesses in Oro Valley, Catalina and Midtown. A power line that feeds to nearly five TEP sub-stations stopped working causing the large power outage. TEP crews are working quickly to get the power back on; an estimated time has not been given.

At the same time another power outage occurred just south of Craycroft and east of Swan. TEP tells News 4 that a construction crew hit a line causing the power outage. TEP crews are working quickly to repair the line.
