Breaking News: Body found with burns

AVRA VALLEY - Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a man who was found with burns all over his body.

Deputy Jason Ogan, spokesperson from Pima County Sheriff Department, tells News 4 around 4:30 this morning, Border Patrol agents saw a black truck enter the Ironwood National Forest.

Then shortly after, they heard a gunshot and flames coming from the area. The border patrol agents followed the vehicle, but eventually lost sight of it.

Once Pima County Homicide detectives arrived on scene, they discovered a male with burns to his body on Mile Wide Road at Reservation Road.

At this time, no arrests have been made.

Homicide detectives are still on scene investigating. We will update you as more information becomes available.
