TUCSON - Thursday could be a day for the record books. As high pressure continues its grip over our region, the forecast high for Tucson is 81 degrees. The record: 82, which was set back in 1987.
Breezes will pick-up during the afternoon hours tomorrow, and remain gusty through much of Friday. These breezes will usher in cooler air as we head into Friday and the weekend. Highs by Saturday will return to the 60s under partly cloudy skies.
There is a slight chance of a shower, from Friday through Monday, but most activity will remain in the higher terrain North of Tucson.
