TUCSON - The Pima Regional Bomb Squad is responding to a South Tucson apartment complex due to a suspicious device.

South Tucson Police Department spokesman Lt. Jeff Inorio said a South Tucson officer came across a suspicious device behind the complex, located at the Old Spanish Trail Apartments, on East Benson Highway near 4th Avenue, just a little while ago.

Inorio described the device as some sort of small, clear bottle taped to a piece of copper pipe.

Responding officers and firefighters are unable to see what is inside the bottle due to a large amount of tape on the outside.
