TUCSON - Tucson Police Department homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man on the east side.

Medics were called to the 5400 block of East Burns Street, near Broadway and Craycroft, shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. Callers reported that a person was slumped over in a vehicle, Tucson Police Department Sgt. Maria Hawke said.

Medics arrived on scene to find that the person was dead, Hawke said.

The person, identified as a male, had suffered some sort of trauma, Hawke said.

No other details were immediately available.
