TUCSON- After receiving threats Boca Tacos and Tequila will not be serving African Lion tacos.

The restaurant on Speedway is known for serving unusual tacos including frog legs, alligator, rocky mountain oysters, and rattlesnake.

A recent Facebook post by the restaurant advertised an exotic taco of African Lion and the post requested pre-orders. Since then the management of Boca Tacos says it has received many threats on the safety of the restaurant, families, customers, and vendors.

Because of the threats they have decided to remove African Lion tacos from the menu.

The company states: "While we will continue to bring unique offerings to the community, prepared as only Boca can, we will not do so at the expense of safety"
