TUCSON - In a 3-2 vote, the Pima County Board of Supervisors appointed Demion Clinco as the new State Representative from Legislative District Two.
Clinco replaces Andrea Dalessandro who was appointed to the State Senate last month following the retirement of Linda Lopez.
Clinco will serve out the remainder of Dalessandro's term. Clinco is President of the Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation Board and CEO of Frontier Consulting Group LLC. He also serves on the Tucson-Pima County Historic Commission and the board of the Center for Desert Archeology. He has a B.A. in Art History from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
No date has been set for Clinco to take the oath of office. The House Majority staff will organize the ceremony.
