Blowing dust may return by Friday

TUCSON - After several days of warm and dry conditions, the weather pattern is changing.

An area of low pressure developing in the Pacific Northwest is moving toward the Southwest.

This system will bring strong winds, up to 55 mph gusts, in wind prone areas Friday afternoon.

A Blowing Dust Advisory goes active for SC Pinal County, and Wind Advisories for the rest of the region. Prepare for low visibilities at times along I-10.

Rain chances will be slight and mainly in the higher terrain East of Tucson.

On the up side, breezy and cooler daytime highs are back for the weekend.
