CINCINNATI, OH - A black pastor who opposes gay marriage says he still supports President Barack Obama.
The Rev. K.Z. Smith of Corinthian Baptist Church in Cincinnati says that while he believes Obama's support for gay marriage goes against what the Bible teaches, he prefers the president to Mitt Romney on issues that affect the poor.
Smith says black churches have mostly opposed gay marriage, but he doesn't plan to preach about it this Sunday, and isn't sure Obama's evolution on the issue will change many black votes.
