Sometimes being the Biggest Loser doesn't mean how much weight you've lost but how much strength and pride you've gained.
This is the case for 51-year-old Peggy Gay who made a healthier lifestyle change 10 years ago and hasn't looked back, "I am almost a native Tucsonan since I was three years old."
Gay says she looks and feels better in her 50's than ever before, "In three weeks I'll be 52."
She credits consistency as the key, which gives her the power to tackle the real estate world, "It's a stressful job so working out is really important to relieve a lot of the stress."
"Her energy is contagious," says Focus Fitness trainer Maggie Zamora. "So when she enters the room everyone just feels that and feeds off it."
"She's able to do half marathons. She's able to go hiking, go walking or just everyday activities, she does them better because she works out," says Zamora.
"Whether it's kayaking or hiking or throwing rocks around in my back yard, I have the strength to do that and look good at the same time," says Gay.
She says she's determined to keep up the pace no matter what gets in her way, "Life throws you curve balls and I am strong so I can handle those."
Gay wasn't over weight to begin with. She looks great anyway. Gay says the goal is fitness and the world of opportunities which come along with it, "I get the results that I need."
