HEREFORD, Ariz. - A black bear appears to be trapped in a tree near Hereford, Arizona - the Game and Fish Department says the bear is too high in the tree to tranquilize.
Officials at the scene confirm the plan is to tranquilize and relocate the bear, but it is currently too far up the tree to safely fall. They will remain on the scene, hoping to wait the bear out.
The bear is near the top of the tree, located at the intersection of Carmen Lane and Hereford Road.
