TUCSON- Bear Canyon Road, just south of East Snyder Road, is closed as utility crews work to replace a power pole damaged in a Friday night crash.
According to Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine, deputies found a Ford Mustang that had crashed into a utility pole around 10:45 Friday night.
The driver of the Mustang was seen walking away from the crash, but has not been located.
Bear Canyon Road is expected to be closed for the next couple hours, while crews continue their work.
Peine said power is out for customers west of Bear Canyon Road, east of Palisades Drive, south of Snyder Road and north of Bear Claw Way. According to Peine, power will be out until noon.
