TUCSON - Police have made two arrests in connection with the March 28th bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank, inside the Fry's grocery store on Swan Rd.
Police were called after a man entered the bank inside the store, handed the teller with a note demanding money, and fled on foot with the cash.
On April 29, detectives received information on the identity and whereabouts of the man seen entering the bank. He was located, detained, and identified as 26 year old Francisco Soto (left). Soto admitted to his involvement in the bank robbery.
Detectives were able to get further information regarding the identity of the driver as well. The next day, detectives located and arrested 37 year old Jason Guerrero (right), who also admitted involvement in the bank robbery.
Soto and Guerrero were charged with 1 count of aggravated robbery and booked into the Pima County Jail.
