TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a bank robbery on Tucson's northwest side.
It happened, around 10:00 Wednesday morning at the Chase Bank inside the Basha's Supermarket, 2000 W. River Road.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies say the suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect exited the bank and fled on foot in an unknown direction. No weapons were seen.
According to deputies, the suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old and 5'7" to 5'10." The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt, sunglasses and a safari hat.
