SCOTTSDALE - Arizona's monsoon storms have brought record destruction to areas of the state and left some wildlife orphaned.
Tuesday's storms left a baby skunk and mule deer fawn stranded in running water. They were both rescued by bystanders and picked up by Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center in Scottsdale.
The baby skunk has been named Monsoon. At first the little skunk wasn't doing well, but the non-profit says his is eating and appears to be doing better.
The mule deer fawn was rescued by maintenance workers at Desert Mountain golf course in north Scottsdale. The fawn is now drinking from a bottle and doing well.
