TUCSON - The Nogales Ranger District, Coronado National Forest is temporarily closing the vicinity of the Atascosa Lookout and the Atascosa Lookout Trail from Forest Road 39 to the Atascosa Fire Lookout.

The lookout and trail are closed to allow for public safety while stabilization work is completed on structures damaged during the Murphy Complex wildfire. The closure is in effect until October 31 or rescinded, whichever is earlier.
