Art exhibits dominate this week's Arts & Culture segment

TUCSON - Looking for something different to do this weekend? Our Arts & Culture Guy, Herb Stratford, has some ideas.

A new exhibition at the University of Arizona Museum of Art entitled "No Ordinary Place" features four different artists interpretations of connection to place and environment.

Each artist approaches their environment with a different perspective and the results are fascinating and unique. The show is on display through September 8th at the Museum, located at Park and Speedway.

The Tucson Botanical Garden is hosting a Classic and Hot Rod Car show on Saturday, July 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. Also on tap is live music, the Mexico City Kitchen Food truck and kids events including face painting and an interactive bug exhibit - something for everyone!

Many people are familiar with the works of Tucson artist Ted DeGrazia, but if you have not visited the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, you are missing a large part of the artist's story. Located at 6300 North Swan the property has rotating exhibitions and is a beautiful place to visit. On display through July 31st is "DeGrazia Watercolors," The Seri Indians," and "Our Lady Of Guadalupe."
