TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to a shooting at a northwest side apartment complex.
On August 31, deputies from the Foothills District responded to a shooting in the 2300 blk. of W. Ina Road.
Detectives say approximately 10:00 a.m., a 74-year-old man was answering a Craigslist ad for an iPAD. The suspect and the victim met at an agreed upon location and time.
According to investigators, when the victim arrived, the suspect entered the victim's vehicle and immediately pointed a gun at him. At some time during the contact, the suspect shot the victim in the shoulder and then fled on foot.
Investigators say evidence led detectives to an apartment in the 2800 blk. W. Broadway Blvd. on September 21, 2011. They arrested Jerry Ramon Jackson on one count of aggravated assault.
