PHOENIX (AP) - A woman is facing aggravated assault charges following a stabbing inside a Phoenix lounge that left three people with injuries.
Police were called to the lounge near 15th Avenue and Camelback Road early Saturday.
Police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson says 44-year-old Janice Begay got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend and another man and woman. She's accused of pulling out a knife and cutting and stabbing the three.
Lounge security workers were able to take the knife from Begay.
Thompson says the three victims' wounds were not life-threatening.
Begay was booked into the Maricopa County Jail. It was not immediately clear if she had legal representation.
