TUCSON - A man suspected of breaking into a north Tucson home, was shot by a Pima County Sheriff's Deputy.
The suspect was taken to UAMC in critical condition but is expected to live.
Chief Deputy Chris Nanos says a homeowner was alerted by an intruder alarm around 6:30 Wednesday night. He arrived home and found the suspect inside his residence located in the 13500 block of North Thornydale Road.
The homeowner called 911 and when deputies responded they ordered the suspect to put down his weapon. Chief Deputy Nanos says the suspect didn't comply with deputies commands.
