TUCSON, Ariz. - Even as it raced to seven wins to open the season, No. 8 Arizona was largely ignored.

The Wildcats were ranked in the top 10 and off to their best start in 14 years, but their schedule wasn't exactly difficult.

The perception about Arizona should change after Saturday night's improbable win over No. 5 Florida.

Trailing by six with just under a minute left, the Wildcats scored the final seven points, pulling out a 65-64 victory when senior point guard Mark Lyons scored on a contested layup with 7 seconds left.

The dramatic victory, which set off a raucous celebration at the McKale Center, could give Arizona a big boost when March comes around.
