TUCSON - University of Arizona volleyball coach Dave Rubio has released his 2014 team schedule, which includes a record 16 matches broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
For the first time since 2011, the Wildcats will open their season on the road August, 29 at the Green Bay Tournament. UofA will meet South Dakota, Green Bay and Kansas State throughout the weekend.
The Arizona Invitational will be in Tucson September 5th and 6th. The Wildcats face Alabama State, Loyola-Chicago and Cal-State Northridge.
Rubio and the Cats will meet every Pac-12 team twice, with the exception of USC and UCLA. League play begins September 24th with the Territorial Cup against Arizona State. That match will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
10 letter-winners return for the Wildcats, including All-American Honorable Mention Madi Kingdon and Pac-12 All-Freshmen member Penina Snuka.
