Arizona man accused of groping women arrested

TEMPE (AP) - Authorities say a man accused of groping women at grocery stores in Tempe and Gilbert is in custody.

Police in the two cities say they worked together to identify and arrest 21-year-old Jesse Jimenez at his Tempe residence on Thursday.

They say Jimenez allegedly targeted women in grocery stores and assaulted them by grabbing their buttocks.

Authorities say Jimenez was identified with the public's help after media coverage on the assaults.

The first assault occurred on June 25 and three more were committed over the next month at various grocery stores in Tempe and Gilbert.

Police say Jimenez has admitted to all of the assaults. He's being booked into the Tempe City Jail on suspicion of four counts of assault.
