PHOENIX- The Arizona Lottery is launching a new draw game called Weekly Winnings. It starts on Sep. 23 and offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for an entire year.

With each ticket you will have a chance to win up to six different times. A top winner can receive a prize of $1,000 per week, or a $52,000 lump sum, taxes paid, lottery officials stated in a news release.

"We are thrilled to launch Weekly Winnings and expect it to be extremely popular with our players." said Karen Bach, director of budget, products and communications for the Arizona Lottery.

The game consists of self-selecting the first set of four numbers or choosing a computer-generated Quick Pick for the top prize of $1,000 per week. Players win by matching each number within one of the sets of numbers, and only the highest prize within each set of numbers will be paid. Prizes, not including the top prize, range from $2 to $10,000.

Each ticket will cost $2 and the drawings will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at approximately 9:40 pm. The player must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem a ticket.
