TUCSON-It was another dry and rather warm day across Southern Arizona and this will be the theme from now through June. The Current Drought Index shows almost all of Southern Arizona in "SEVERE DROUGHT" with some crop loss possible the next few months.

Chief Meteorologist Rob Guarino says the conditions are worst in the Phoenix Area with most of Maricopa County under "EXTREME DROUGHT" conditions with crop loss likely.

Temps will bake this weekend as some areas may see the first 100 degree day of the season. Phoenix should see 100 on Sunday and Tucson with 98 degrees.
