Arizona Basketball adds personnel

TUCSON - The Arizona Basketball Team may be 94 days from the start of the it's regular season. The first game is on November 8, against Cal-poly, but there is still a lot going on with the cats. Today Arizona Head Coach, Sean Miller announced new additions to the team.

Joseph Blair, who was part of the '94 Final 4 team and who played professionally for more than a decade, joins the coaching staff as an assistant. In addition to coaching Blair will pursue his degree at the U of A.

Miller also welcomed Chris Johnson to the roster. He is the older brother of guard Nick Johnson and has logged some minutes for Grand Canyon University.

While speaking on the subject of personnel moves, Miller said that with former player, Damon Stoudamire, already with the team, Joseph Blair will help complete a great coaching staff.

"Like Damon, he had great success here as a player", Millier said, "he had a long career in Europe, and with our front court players in particular, there is nothing like having someone as big and physical out there to go against than JB."
