PHOENIX - Jodi Arias is scheduled to testify for the 12th day on Wednesday after a prosecutor worked to poke holes in her stories and questioned the duplicity of her portrayal of the victim.
The 32-year-old is charged in the June 2008 death of her lover in his suburban Phoenix home. She says it was self-defense, but police say she planned the attack on 30-year-old Travis Alexander in a jealous rage.
Testimony in the case began in early January.
A prosecutor on Tuesday hammered Arias over how she initially lied to authorities, telling them she wasn't involved, before eventually settling on self-defense.
He also noted how Arias has described Alexander as a violent, womanizing sexual deviant, but also as a kind and beautiful person.
Arias faces the death penalty if convicted.
