TUCSON -- Election officials tell News 4 there are 15,300 ballots yet to be counted in Tuesday's Election. Pima County Elections Director Brad Nelson says all ballots cast at polling stations have been counted but 10,700 early ballots will start to be counted Thursday afternoon.

There are also 2,600 provisional ballots which will need to be varified and counted. These ballots are from voters who had identification issues at their polling place.

In addition to those ballots, there are still 2,000 duplicate ballots to be addressed. These are early ballots in which the voter did not color in the circle, instead they put a circle around the candidate's name. Those ballots will be duplicated by hand and then read by a voting machine.

Nelson tells News 4, he expects preliminary numbers by Friday but says they may still be counting on Saturday.
