TUCSON - Frank Antenori, a Republican candidate for Congressional District 8 in the Special Election, has conceded to Jesse Kelly.
The latest statewide results from the Secretary of State show Jesse Kelly leading his three GOP competitors with 38.92 percent of the vote. Martha McSally is next, with 23.73 percent of the vote.
So far, 54,399 votes have been counted statewide, with 43,010 votes from Pima County counted.
If Kelly secures the GOP nomination tonight, he will go on to race Democrat Ron Barber and Green Party candidate Charlie Manolakis on June 12 for the CD8 Special General Election.
