TUCSON - Triple digit heat showing no signs of letting up.
High pressure remains stuck over the region driving temperatures 3-5 degrees above average this week. The peak of the heat looks to hit on Tuesday as highs top out near 105 degrees under generally sunny skies.
A weak weather disturbance brushes by our north on Wednesday kicking up the afternoon breeze. Expect winds out of the WSW up to 20mph with stronger gusts.
These disturbances, however, will keep our temperatures from getting into record territory this week. We'll see daytime highs hover between 102-105 degrees through Father's Day weekend.
