TUCSON - Another down day for Monsoon 2013 as the holiday weekend rolls on.
With drier air in place this afternoon storm coverage will be kept to a minimum. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, the few storms that do take off this afternoon should be confined to the mountains south and east of Tucson.
Better moisture will start to move into Southern Arizona starting on Labor Day supporting more isolated storm coverage. A fairly low grade monsoon pattern sets up this week with mainly hit or miss afternoon storms and daytime highs hovering around 100.
