Anchor - Rebecca Taylor

Thrilled to be back in her hometown, Rebecca Taylor is the weekend anchor and evening reporter.

Taylor is an award winning broadcast journalist, whose live reports and segments have appeared on CNN, Fox News, The Weather Channel and the entertainment magazine show Inside Edition.

Taylor left Tucson for Nashville, Tennessee to gain a greater understanding of the entertainment industry. As a country music journalist, Taylor has interviewed everyone from Rascal Flatts to Lynyrd Skynyrd. She was among a handful of reporters invited to the famed Ryman Auditorium when George Strait received his first ever songwriting award in 2012.

She has also worked in Phoenix reporting for KTVK- TV, where she was a regular fill-in anchor. Taylor covered a variety of assignments including the trial of 'The Baseline Rapist', one of the two simultaneously occurring serial killer cases, the other being the 'Serial Shooter' case which terrorized the Phoenix metro area, between August 2005 and June 2006.

Taylor got her start in TV news as an intern at News 4. Upon graduation from the University of Arizona with a degree in communications and music, she landed her first job in Great Falls, Montana as the morning and noon anchor.

Taylor also enjoys classical music and received three college scholarship offers related to her talent playing the clarinet.
