SAN TAN VALLEY - A 15-year-old alleged prostitute from Tucson reported to Pinal County Sheriffs that her "pimp" had beaten her up earlier this month. Yesterday, deputies identified and arrested a Buckeye man for assault and child prostitution charges.
At 2:30 a.m. on June 6, deputies responded to a 911 call from a 15-year-old girl who had jumped out of vehicle allegedly driven by 26-year-old Chad Walker, officials say. The victim claimed he was her pimp, and he had hit her in the face because she did not get money from the client up front. The victim had a cut lip and abrasions to her chest and thighs.
The victim also told deputies that Walker arranges clients through the "Escort Services" of an online listings website. Deputies contacted the victim's mother, who lives in Tucson. The mother said she had already reported her daughter as a juvenile runaway to the Tucson Police Department.
On June 14, Chad Walker was arrested and booked into Pinal County Adult Detention Center on one count each of Aggravated Assault and Causing a Minor to Engage in Child Prostition, officials say. Additional charges are pending.
