PHOENIX (AP) - The crew of an Air National Guard refueling tanker escaped serious injury when smoke filled the big jet's cockpit at the airport in Phoenix.

Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Capt. Scott Walker says crews found no fire when they were called to the Arizona Air National Guard parking ramps on the south side of Sky Harbor International Airport on Sunday morning.

An airport spokeswoman says the Boeing KC-135 tanker was parked when firefighters were called.

Walker says three members of the crew were treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.
