TUCSON - A cool start to the day, as TIA registered a low temperature of 48° this morning.
Highs are on track to reach the upper 70's over the next few hours, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. High pressure off the southern California coast steers in some scattered cirrus clouds, which should make for a gorgeous sunset this evening.
Sunset tonight is at 6:25 PM.
Models remain consistent tracking a cold front across the Arizona/New Mexico border Friday and Saturday. Most of the viewing area experiences gusty winds up to 25 MPH, with the White Mountains seeing a slim shot at a few showers.
Highs this weekend drop to the mid 70's, with 80's returning the middle of next week.
