TUCSON - The thermometer is well on its way to the 80° mark for the 6th straight afternoon.
After a morning low of 52°, temperatures at the noon hour were in the upper 70's across Tucson, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Highs reach the low 80's over the next few hours, running 5-7° above average for late March.
Models continue to hint at the Sonoran Wind Machine revving up by mid week. Gusty winds up to 30 MPH may produce localized areas of blowing dust Wednesday. Limited visibility may occur along I-10 near Picacho Peak and the Willcox Playa.
