TUCSON - The heat is on!
After a morning low of 48°, Tucson sits in the upper 70's at the noon hour, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Highs reach the mid 80's this afternoon under mostly sunny skies, while lows tonight drop around 50°.
Record heat remains on tap tomorrow, with computer models in strong agreement for highs in the upper 80's for the Old Pueblo. The best chance for 90° temps comes in the western deserts of Pima County. Highs threaten record levels early next week before returning to the 70's.
