TUCSON - Scattered storms continue to develop Southern Arizona wide this afternoon.
An increase in moisture and instability has led to an active wrap to the workweek. Storms will continue to develop well into the evening hours producing heavy rain, gusty winds and dangerous lightning.
Several Warnings and Advisories have already been issued for Santa Cruz and Central Pima County where storms have really favored today. A Flash Flash Flood Warning is in effect for this region until 5pm this evening.
A Blowing Dust Advisory is still in effect until 9pm as gusty outflow winds develop out of today's storms. Watch for reduced visibility along I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson.
Another round of scattered storms is possible on Saturday as an upper level disturbance moves through the area. The biggest threats will again be heavy rain and gusty winds.
