TUCSON - A project advertises for health eating by mixing it with art.
The Youth Farm Project has taken photos of their work on the farm and is now putting them up for display.
It's a project funded by the Communities Putting Preventions to Work and Centers for Disease Control.
Project Manager Shanti Sellz and a crew got together at the Pima County Library to turn the photos into large format black and white pictures.
"The idea is that it's a very simple form of public art," Sellz said. "There's not this fancy process and it doesn't take a lot of resources."
After cutting, sizing, and prepping, the 20x20 photos were put up outside the main library with a wheat paste adhesive made from vegetable starch and water.
"This is a way to link this downtown community project with our downtown with the program at the farm and really showcase how youth are involved in agriculture and engaged in their community," Sellz said.
The finished product will be up for about a month.
