TUCSON- Students and faculty at the University of Arizona now have a new way to get to campus.
A carpool program called "Zimride" allows people at the University to connect on a social network.
Through the site members can connect to people with similar interests and ride to school together. This helps students and faculty cut down the cost of gas and cut down the amount of traffic congestion around the University.
The school has about 18,000 parking spaces and about 50,000 people visit campus every day. Between the limited space and construction in the area, this program is much needed.
