TUCSON - Only a few storms developed over Southeastern Arizona on Wednesday after many days of recent rain. The atmosphere has stabilized and most of the storms developed in the mountains and haven't lasted very long.
An area of low pressure will move through the State on Thursday and enhance storm chances again, but the latest forecast still keeps most of the region dry.
One of the most noticeable features will be cooler temperatures. Highs on Thursday will struggle to reach the low 90s even in the warmest deserts.
Mainly quiet weather should continue through the weekend with only isolated storms in the forecast.
